We collect the following information when you use TAPASYA:

• Account Information: Your name and email address obtained through Google Sign-In
• Study Data: Syllabus progress, chapter completion status, study session duration, flashcards, and notes you create
• Usage Data: App features you use, study streaks, XP points, and level progress
• Payment Information: Transaction details for Divyastra Gold subscriptions (processed securely by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
• Device Information: Device type and operating system for app compatibility
• Profile Picture: If you choose to upload one (stored securely on Supabase)

• To provide and improve the TAPASYA app experience
• To track and display your study progress, streaks, and achievements
• To sync your data across devices through secure cloud storage
• To send daily study reminders (only if you enable them)
• To process payments for Divyastra Gold subscriptions

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with industry-standard encryption.

• All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/SSL
• Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
• Passwords are never stored — we use Google OAuth for authentication
• Payment processing is handled by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant)
• You can request deletion of your data at any time

TAPASYA uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In: For secure authentication — governed by Google's Privacy Policy
• Supabase: For secure cloud database and file storage
• Razorpay: For payment processing — governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy

👶 Children's Privacy

TAPASYA is designed for students aged 13 and above preparing for JEE, NEET, and UPSC examinations.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update incorrect information through the Profile section
• Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and data
• Notifications: Opt out of push notifications anytime in Settings
• Subscription: Cancel Divyastra Gold subscription anytime

🔔 Push Notifications

TAPASYA may send push notifications for:

• Daily study reminders (if enabled by you)
• Streak milestone achievements
• Important app updates

You can disable notifications anytime in your device Settings or within the TAPASYA app under Profile → Settings → Daily Reminder.

💳 Subscription & Payments

Divyastra Gold subscriptions are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

• We offer a 7-day free trial for new users
• Monthly plan: ₹199/month
• Yearly plan: ₹999/year
• Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime
• Refund requests can be made within 7 days of purchase by contacting support

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top
• Sending a notification through the app
• Displaying a notice on the app's home screen

Continued use of TAPASYA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
